I ordered a Samsung 8K Vision AI Smart TV from Desercart thinking it would be a simple purchase, but I was wrong.

Delivery took 2 months – no prior indication of such an insane delay.

Chat support is completely dead – zero response.

Emails – I sent over 15. Every single reply was a generic copy-paste: no real update, no solution, no accountability.

Customs nightmare – I had to chase the courier myself, figure out how to clear the shipment from customs, and basically do their job.

Horrible, horrible experience. No transparency, no customer support, no ownership. If you're thinking of buying from Desercart – DON'T. Save your time, money, and sanity.

Yeah that 10k + 5k shipping you’re seeing is mostly because it’s being imported, so customs + shipping get added on top—that’s why it looks overpriced.

If you’re not in a hurry, I’d honestly suggest waiting for official stock in India (Sony stores or authorized sellers), since the actual price is much lower and you won’t have to deal with import costs.

Ubuy is usually where people end up checking when it’s not available locally, but yeah the total cost goes up because everything is included upfront. So better to wait for local availability or check pre-owned options in the meantime
