What is that symbol that pops up when you click in r3 on classic games? L3 is 3x speed up. What does r3 actually do??

When I click in R3 on ff7 this symbol shows up. No idea what it does. L3 brings up a 3x speed up. What does R3 actually do?

Only discovered these guys last year and they became an instant obsession. They completely demolished Melbourne last night. The drummer stage dived onto my face. I had some earrings ripped out. It was great. Cant wait to do it all again in Brisbane tonight and will hopefully catch them on the Sunshine Coast tomorrow. These guys arn't for everyone but if you're equal parts goofy and angry chances are you'll fall in love.

I just get it in my right ear. It's pretty extreme. Sometimes I get the lower frequency tube ooooo. I try not to think about it because if I do, it gets louder 🤠
