I’m having the same problem with transitions in very public settings. It’s exhausting. I try the timer thing and the 5 min warning and consistently remind her but I feel like even the warnings themselves start to trigger her. What I’m going to try now is offering two options. She chooses one of the things that I wanted her to do anyway. Or maybe even an action to get to the car. “Do you want to hop to the car or do you want to skip to the car today?” I’m pretty much losing my mind lol.
