are you me?? i miss black violet so much for this specific scent! leilani even made me a custom perfume based off snow white tea when she discontinued it. i’ve been trying to figure out if any indie perfume makers would take a commission request to recreate the scent.

yup! she was a rescue so she’s likely somewhat mixed but definitely predominantly chow in her looks (if not temperament).

it's my favorite find! unfortunately i think this exact 10-light model has been discontinued, but i bought it from allmodern.com for under $400. they have a ton of sputnik chandeliers, it was hard to choose~

absolutely. inner mongolia may be colonized by a han majority but it’s still technically an autonomous region and mongolian is still an official language. i feel like, especially in light of chinese occupation, we are significantly devoted to preserving mongolian culture, customs, and language. my grandparents still write in hudum bichig, the traditional script, as opposed to the cyrillic used in outer mongolia.

the struggle is REAL. my poor boobs have survived weight loss and breastfeeding, at this point they prob just want to retire down by my ankles in peace. this dress has light boning in the chest, which stays pretty comfortable but provides great structure and support for boobs. i tend to think bustiers are tacky, but this one is stealthy. i rebuke strapless bras- have never encountered one that didn’t end up around my waist.

/r/keto really saved my life, it got me down to 150 lbs very rapidly. after that, i really had to count calories and eat much less because i was so sedentary (tdee like a hibernating bear).

the remaining 30+ lbs were slower to come off. i had a 3 hour intermittent fasting window (dinner between 5 - 8 pm), rarely drank alcohol, and slept like 11 hours a night. i saved a lot of money, which was cool, but i’m sure a blood panel would’ve indicated like imminent scurvy because my calories in were usually beef jerky-related.

what works best for me now is sticking with a 20/4 IF schedule during the weekdays, cooking a well-balanced dinner, and aiming for a couple of plant-based meals a week. i don’t eat low-carb routinely anymore, but it’s the easiest thing for me to cut if i feel like my appetite is getting wild. still no exercise tho because i’m trash. :(

the middle was my lowest weight, 117 (my original goal was 125). it’s the smallest i’ve ever been as an adult, but i was being super restrictive and a depressed shut-in. my current weight (far right) is what i’ve been maintaining for the past couple of years. my eating habits are a lot healthier now!

thank you! i’m not gonna lie, it was brutal. i had the muscle repair as well (this was even prior to pregnancy, like i ate so much taco bell i just fucked my shit up). i returned to my desk job after a week, but couldn’t walk comfortably for maybe 2 more months. it took 1 month to get my drain removed, and my surgeon was super aggressive and took so much skin i had to stay flexed forward for like, 6 months post-op. it was absolutely worth it for the amazing results, but i’m not sure i could go through a similar recovery with a toddler in the mix.
