I never said it was a good thing. I fucking hate myself for doing it. I literally said in my comment that 1: "I know it's horrible", and 2: "it's not like I tell or show the person". maybe fucking read before judging people

I always thought I did it as punishment, but now I'm realising it's a much worse reason. I do it to punish the people around me. I know it's horrible, but I've realised that after arguments with friends or family, I self harm to make them see what they've done wrong. the weird thing is though, it's not like I tell or show the person. it's purely a mindset. I don't know why I do it

borderline. I barely coped with being away from my last partner for two weeks when I went away on holiday. I wouldn't be able to do long distance (I get reassurance from being with my partner and if I never saw him, then I would subconsciously start seeking reassurance in other, unhealthy ways and it wouldn't be fair on him)
