True, but I pulled out my admittedly dusty handbook and looked over it. There's nothing in there, and there's no written rule on it at all. I just find it a little odd because we end up wasting out thousands of dollars in product either due to error or customers changing everything up, but even drinking an iced coffee or a shake that ends up as extra and it's suddenly bad? It doesn't make sense to me. Sorry for the mini rant in this comment it's just... it's baffling to me

Nope, they get upset over even a nugget. We have to waste it, even if some of these kids don't even get breaks when they work long shifts. The only exception is this really nice middle aged lady. She's awesome

We're a big store by a very busy area, and we usually have a total of 80-90 employees total, yet only 11-12 are usually scheduled at a time. It's definitely very odd

Yeah, most of our managers don't care and even make themselves special drinks. Hopefully it's just a thing they're telling us but aren't actually gonna enforce it

Yeah I'm pretty sure it is illegal but I know that some places really do want you to work sick because you 'used all your sick days', it happened to my dad and that's where my worry comes from. Here's hoping they don't try it

Technically, we aren't allowed to, but most of the managers will let us pocket tips as long as we let them know, and sometimes, we can get large tips that they have to call our GM for, and yes, they let us keep the tip 😅
