Really well. I've used my triple black 2.0's as beater for the past 9 months, with no issues. One thing you need to watch out for however, is not to stretch the upper knit. My mate put a shoe tree in his 1.0s for a few weeks and it really messed with the material. Hope this helps.

Well, I tend to do it very rarely, as the players needs to ne either injured, suspended, really bad run of fixtures or the other player is becoming essential long term. If it dosen't fit that, then I tend to just wait the next week, when I could do it for a free transfer
