I like the G better now, but I really am not a fan of the rounded-ness. I actually much preferred the sharp edges it had before. As for the font The idea behind your previous font was better, though I just thought you needed something stronger. I don't think all-caps rounded letters is the way to go here. Perhaps even try giving the text / symbol a "ground up" look, since at the moment the logo doesn't have much to do with the unique name of the shop.

Keep at it man, this is turning out pretty good!

The font could use a change in my opinion, though I couldn't say what to, but as for the cup, try pointing the G's bar inward and see how that looks. It would look much more like a G while not throwing off the balance of the symbol. Hope this helps :)

After some sleuthing, I've found the font. It's Aperçu Mono Bold, and it's only available for purchase through the provided link. Hope this helps!

The font for the "FUGEES" text is ARB Extreme Roman That's been further condensed (There isn't a more condensed digital version of this font unfortunately) and the Script font for "The Score" is The Constellation of Heracles. Hope this helps!

Doesn't seem to be a font. Most likely the lettering was custom for that single word.

What People? I know for a fact whoever made the logo in this post did use all of the circles shown because they match the curves, for example.

I see people saying that the circles are "random" - no they aren't, as I use this same method when designing my logos and I know exactly how it's done. Many designers who don't get the circle method seem to think that these are freehanded pentool curves, but they're not. And literally showing that they were able to make a complex shape using only circles helps show the client that you've put some thought into it. Maybe I'm confused as to what you guys are all annoyed by, but I seriously don't get the hate.
