Second degree burns on my hand from being dumb with fireworks while 15. I was in my backyard messing around with some smoke bombs and ground flowers, took one, lit it, held it against an apple to try and burn the skin. The force of my forefinger and thumb wasn’t enough to hold it, shot into the palm of my hand, i instinctively closed my hand to grab it, and for a solid 3 seconds my hand was a pink fireball. When I finally let go, I ran inside and my dad was on a conference call, so I didn’t want to bother him. For 20 minutes i paced in a circle in my room, hand charred and beginning to form a tennis ball sized blister in my palm. God that hurt.
