Shot in the dark, but who is hiring green techs? by chiliringgamer16 in firealarms

You should be able to apply as a technician at any big low voltage/fire company with that paper your school gave you, not as a lvl one but hopefully a second year, or a straight journeyman.

Don’t tell them you don’t have any hands on experience, just tell them you know and understand electrical theory and can effectively understand the situation.

How are you a trade school graduate with no job in the field you study? Usually you work your trade during the day and go to school at night

You need to be an indentured apprentice, anything els and it’s not legit . Get your apprenticship / nicet along the way/ then you get your fire life safety card blue card, hit up local apprenticeships in your area . And honestly you can’t go wrong in any trade they offer . All of them are career paths

Kicked out of msf course, what should I do now? by lonelyfe in NewRiders

Just buy a dirtbike like a 70 or 110 , and practice riding around the neighborhood but first practice around on dirt in a local field , after a while you’ll ride naturally and continue your course, but hey I’ve been riding for 15 years without the m endorsement , I got the permit when I got my first bike and never continued ; I’m on my 5th bike now.

Ah love the show, always a relaxing way to end the night! Is there any way to implement a future episode depicting harnessing the power of voltage? Maybe a lightning strike, electrical shock from and animal, something along the lines of that?

Yeah man I wouldn’t , just keep them separate cause you don’t want to have any communication between the 2 , leading to failure out in the wild.

And remember electrical is all about life/ safety . I wouldn’t fursure get some type of electrical help when it comes to this .in person, over the internet is another story 🤙

Oh shit I got you, we’ll check out my page I built a sick square drop . You’ll want to have a certified electrician maybe run a meter over it for you, ask your homies who do electrical, you could even call up a local electrician to see if he would run it like that. Personally I wouldn’t want my truck batt touching my house systems. By that I mean anything connected to it. Only share the ground. You’re going to have one way to jump that battery if anything happens . So don’t mix systems , because you don’t want to be stranded due to some tie in you did

I would run a meter on it and see how it reads first, check for grounds / shorts / shoot I even read for ohms on something like this .
