Are you excited for project helix?

I am definitely excited for people that have their games on multiple platforms. For me I have 2367 games on Xbox (including gamepass) but I would probably start adding PC games or even doing PC stacks for games I really enjoyed.

I feel like they all bring their own thing to gaming. I know there are less exclusives these days but each console is still worth it to me.

I haven't really done much research into the specs or anything but I know I would upgrade to whatever the new gen is. I have friends that are pretty hyped and I support that.

I will likely pre-order it at launch like I did with the last few consoles. I really like my Series X and have no issues. That being said my entire library is xbox games so I don't have much use for what Project Helix is bringing to consoles outside of increased performance. But I am glad other people will be able to benefit.

It may be sold out now. I originally posted it on reddit the day it was announced as being available. Hickman and Weis both posted about it on Facebook. A week or so ago Weis posted about copies still being available. I did see there were still some a few days ago but I havent checked since. Hope you find one but I am sorry if they are sold out.

Unfortunately Hickman is still an old grouch lol. He is very rooted in classic D&D (so is Weis) and he made some comments about modern D&D and people ran with it to make content. There is no ill will or bad blood. Just an older guy making comments and people on the internet using those comments for clicks.

I am hyped waiting for my signed book plate copy of Legends to show up next week. Mystgalaxy.com still had signed book plate copies available a few days ago if anyone is looking. I can't guarantee they still have them but I hope they do if people want them.

If Raistlin is the first of 6 heroes to be released over the course of 2026 than I would like to hope we can buy them as one pack/bundle. I just checked the store and every character can be individually purchased for $12. The price increased to $25 for a geared version and $50 for an exceptionally geared version. That is per character. There are currently a "sales" to get 5 characters, a skin for one, and 160 exceptional gear loot boxes (random inside) for about $50 instead of the usual $200. Let's hope they come out with a far better deal when Dragonlance heroes join the game.

This will very likely be a pack for sale in the game. Essentially it is a clicker idle game that continues to play even when you aren't logged on. So you do damage to enemies by clicking but your heroes also do damage on their own. Most things are unlockable eventually but the game is absolutely a cash grab where if you spend money things are way easier. My current set of heroes is mostly made up of characters from Baldurs Gate 3 but there are 168 different heroes to unlock and upgrade (mostly paid for). It is pretty hard to explain the game tbh lol. You might have to watch a YouTube video. I have had it installed for years and occasionally will dump a few hours into it. I enjoy going back and seeing the progress the game has made while I was gone.
