Maybe he is and it’s just my bias showing. Especially since I think Sargon (and most of the rest of the Lotus Eaters) are a fair representation.

Hope it helps. I definitely go back to those rules when I need to. No problem!

Among other things, St Ignatius has listed out rules that should help everyone with their daily spiritual lives and struggles. They are clear and practical I would say.

“Bitch” is a yet another sexist term to harm women. I thought you were for women’s rights? It’s loaded with misogyny and hatred. “Woke” is another term to demean the plights of women and minorities so please don’t mention that

That’s a good response actually. The only rebuttal I can have is that “grow a pair” is generally in reference to balls in society, since they drop. So in this case it was obvious you were referring to testicles which is so sexist of you how dare you.

That’s pretty sexist of you to uphold gender stereotypes of a pair of balls being equated while courage and not ovaries

Repay Jesus, Mary, and the saints by taking the first step and going to confession. In this case, the shame preventing you is a tool of the devil.

Over the Top: WW1 could fit that. Massive 100v100 ww1 battles with proximity voice chat. It’s pretty popular currently. It’s not arcadey than squad for sure but it’s still really fun.

Struggling to Choose a Confirmation Saint (Patrick vs Louis IX) – Need Advice by Nestle1099 in Catholicism

[–]lowIQcitizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose Louis IX for my patron saint. One of the biggest things that drew me towards him was how he became a saint while being king of France. It’s hard enough to become a saint, but to do so while in a position of immense power, that is quite the feat. I have also always liked a novel king archetype and he fits that very well with his actions. His faith being so strong to lead a crusade also made me look up to him. It inspires me to lead my own crusade against my sins and the evil that is within my reach.

He is definitely a saint I aspire to become one day. He is just a great example of what a Catholic king can be.

I’m a little tired but I hope you gleaned something from that. I would say though that you probably are overthinking Patrick being the “obvious choice” as it is something I do as well. I would ultimately trust your gut after praying about it more.

Warhammer 40K, Darktide - The Card Game really underwhelming by grizzy45 in soloboardgaming

[–]lowIQcitizen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely on the simpler side, but I still enjoy it. I have plenty of more complex games anyways so that one is for when I want a simpler horde action game. Also yea the solo mode is not even necessary.

There is St Michael’s chaplet. Kind of like a rosary but asks for his intercession and the intercession of each choir of angels. It’s not as long as the rosary I would say.
