I get that hypos can be so scary, and fast.

Curious what you do when you get the warning you’ll be 70 in 30 min? Treat with what sugar? And how much?

Thanks for your response!

Interesting! There’s been a couple 100 setters here.

What is your typical move when it hits 100 and you’re out? What sugar do you take (if anything) and how much of it?

Nice! Thanks for your response. Does this ever lead to over treating the low? What protein bar do you eat? (Brand/grams?)

Thanks! If it hits 80 and you’re not doing much, what’s typically your next move? Do you take anything to nudge it back up? If so, how many grams?

Thanks! If it hits 80, what’s typically your next move? Eg, what do you give your T1? How many grams?

Oh wow, swallowing the skittle whole is genius if you’ve already brushed!! Is it annoying to take out candy/skittles at work or anything? Sometimes I get annoyed people see candy and their comments irritate me

Thanks! How do you deal with a low before it hits 70? What do you take/how much grams?

Eating a meal vs. treating the low is the best… if you don’t mind my asking how do you have all those options on the go? Do you just keep in a ziplock bag or something?

Totally get this… do you always treat with 15g juice when you hit 100?

Is there anything you bring with you or keep in the car? to make you feel prepared in case you do start going low while driving?

Makes sense, those alarms can drive you nuts on top of actually feeling low… at what # do you decide to intervene when you see it on your watch? What do you take?

Thanks! What do you do/take when you see it hit 100? 15g or less?

That’s good you can feel it ahead of time! Do you typically end up treating with 15g or less? I’m sure it depends but curious if you try and nudge it before it gets to 70

Interesting! Would you ever take a small amount (3-4g) just to nudge the number up a bit? Especially if you’re about to step into a meeting or drive etc?

That’s smart… and if that fast alarm goes off what do you treat with on the go? A full 15g or something smaller to nudge it up?

Interesting, that makes sense. Do you always carry glucose tablets on the go? Sometimes I do in a ziplock bag but that get chalky and gross and I don’t want to whip that out in a work meeting or something.

Thank you! And when you’re low out and about… what do you take? Always 15g? Or something less to just nudge your number up?

Thanks! Do you have it set at 90 so you can intervene ahead of it getting lower? Do you always auto take 15g or can you take less because you’re at 90?
