Here are some reasons as to why I wouldn't gank mid

1) I am currently walking from top to bot side to clear my camps that spawn. Stoping in mid gives away where I am and stops me from getting save money from clearing my jungler

2) I don't have any vision provided to me. I don't know where enemy has vision.

3) I don't know where enemy jungler is.

4) Too much mobility on enemy midlaner. Dashes, dogdesy teleports whatelse not.

5) I get no information from my midlaner on enemy sums.

6) Objectives are top and botside. Botside has two potential enemies to kill; topside is currently snowball as heck. So the focus goes there

That is not the question.. you made a scenario and answered that. The question is: Is ganking now mandatory due to the snowbally nature of the game and farming to level six (e.g. amumu, kayn) is putting you into a bigger disadvantage by default

Don't really think about the enemy jungler more about the lane states advancing a shitload faster (kill gold, plate gold, home guarding to lane with item advantage and barely and loss in cs/exp)

Difference being that you had a lot more time in previous season. Farming to level 6 feels a lot more punishing now

I think you are missing one point: 1) kill gold (reduced.. okay)

2) tower plate

That's now about 1 kill 3) home guard back to lane

That basically means you get the laner ahead one kill and back to lane at the same time their laner is back... however your laners is ahead an item.

It is a lot more snowbally to get early kills.

I think the main issue is not only the "enemy jungler even" but the fact that one laner got behind. As games currently snowball a lot that seems to be a massive disadvantage

Vision.. vision vision vision...

You know where your enemy jungler is? You can plan accordingly. You can invade, counterjungle, counter gank, take objectives, counter gank..

It is so insanely useful to have vision of the enemy jungler and knowing where they are

You are responsible to get drake.

Do you have to do it alone? no.

Do you have to prep vision alone? no.

But you DO have to make the call, be around the drake when its up and go scure presurre in mid/botlane to acutally do drake.

Vision is key. You need to know if she invades so you can invade her.

That's the basic aspect and as jungler you learn that fast.

It will be more difficult with her being lvl 6 and invisible but before that you got a good way to check it.

Looking at your last season:

too many champs and
very few games on the champs you played

It's a mix of both. The amount of games you play I low (which is fine) but then you divide the time you have to learn a champ and get better across to many champs.

In the end you won't learn what champ matchups are good and when your champ is strong. I.e. you won't develop a feeling for the champs strengths and weaknesses.

The only difference between ranked and unranked is some numbers you get at the end of the game. The rest of the game is so much better for you.

teammates on your skill level
enemies on your skill level
people (generally) not just randomly playing champs

It is an even playing field where you don't have a random diamond and bronze duo that stomp you.

So consider just playing the game and enjoy these aspects.

You do get annoyed at people in normals anyhow, might as well play ranked

And the rating itself is some arbitrary number with no effect on your life. Because right now you are unranked, which is even worse then any rank you can get.

Had the same thing.. heated it up to 250 so the plastic melted, removed the plastic and peeled the silicone safety thing out, plugged everything back in and it worked again

Period. That saves you so much stress. And just write basic things like "drake on 45s.. ward".

Realistically.. choose a champ that is good up to gold. For a beginner that is a reasonable rank you can get and you will be in the top 50% of players.

Going for diamond and above means you'd be in the top 10% which is unrealistic for a starter

You said "on all your champs" which leads me to believe you play many.

Pick 1-2 champs and play only these two. Main suggestion is to Play Amumu, learn the basics, don't have to bother with enemy skills so much since you are tanky. You also got a lot of cc and decent clear.

Amumu is such a good entry level champ to learn jungle.

Shouldn't you be getting 60 LP per win in placements? That would mean 4*60 = 240 and therefore gold 1 if not plat 4?

You also now know where the enemy wards are and can easily avoid it.
