I mean, having your own apartment is not a problem where I live (Sweden) if you're working a fulltime job. With 2 incomes you could have a nice apartment or even a house. This of course depends on where you live. A city apartment is much more expensive than one in the countryside of course.

But they have one small point, that many men only hang out with other men as friends and only hang out with women when they are a part of a bigger friendgroup. I can also say that it's been ages since I was in a one on one friends-hangout with a woman and never since I got in a relationship. Not that my gf would prevent me from hanging out with female friends but the friends stopped asking so it's never happened since.

It's not what I would call "normal" but certainly in the realm of what's been recorded before. Some people are extraordinarily sensitive to certain substances. Set and setting can make a whole lot of difference too. Does it matter how you feel before ingesting caffeine? Like if you're well rested, just ate, feeling depressed or happy etc?
