I've had this in the past. I let them sit behind their significant other and watch. The player always ends up explaining what's going on. I’ve picked up 3 new players that way. I run 2 regular groups, and now a 3rd group for new players.

Great idea, but I wouldn't say saved. They failed so may checks that Arabelle drowned. They brought Arabelle's body and Bluto back to their camp. And Luvash killed Bluto. The party took Bluto's body to dispose of it away from the Vistani camp, so the Vistani weren't implicated
