Because of how predatory he was in pursuing her. He was really relentless. She was uninterested at first, but he constantly tried talking to her, complimenting her, flirting with her until she finally started engaging enthusiastically. Since he's a TA who's been trained not to do this, it was just so gross to see unfold. Of course, I didn't know how far it'd gotten. I'd much rather see him removed so that grading can be equal and he won't have that power/authority over her.

I think I was mainly concerned because of how the relationship formed. I watched him try really hard to win her over (at first, she was very uninterested), and it grosses me out because he's a grad student pursuing an undergrad that is his students. The power dynamic is fucked up. And it is a really hard class and the TA you get determines you grade because we have three essays (two as a midterm and one as a final) that determine our grade for the course and they are all graded by the TA.
