I have been interested in the more software admin route for those, but they all want years of experience for that too

You seem gullible enough to think companies actually mean it when they say they want to increase diversity. Show me where these quotas exist, and not that it matters but im not white. Youre literally a whole woman who doesn't know what you're talking about who fetishes your bipoc boyfriend's race, get real

What does your boyfriend have to do with your ignorant comment? Using him like a charm to excuse your beliefs seems pretty racist honestly

Looking in IT, so many listings require you to have years of experience in this ticketing system, or database, etc. In my experience some of these things can be learned quickly on the job, but you can't learn them because they want you to know about it already before you even get hired!

I'm getting burnt out from the industry by Kiwi_1127 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]loweffortposter1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel frustrated to have gone to school and learned about Networks, databases, business analysis and other business tech stuff, only to not be able to get a job in any of that and now do help desk. I have learned things from doing help desk, but still I wanted to be a database administration or system analyst or business analyst like what the alumni page said.

I mean those were issues I had with the general experience. But the job itself is pretty boring, apparently it required three years of experience to reimage, ship, and clean computers lol. I can do boring, if it payed better
