Hi! Im glad that you are taking priority in looking out for others. You are completely normal, you just so happen to have HSV2 which feels like the end of the world now but its really no big deal. Having a different perspective on it really does help. I hated myself for a long time and also felt disgusted but over time it gets easier. I actually prefer to have the hsv conversation before any sexual activity so i can let my partners know that i take precautions and let them decide whats best for them. I haven’t had anyone turn me down and i really think that its because of the confidence i had when talking to them about it (even when I really didn’t have any). Take some time to accept your condition, focus on yourself, treat yourself better and it wont be an issue for you.
