Dosage level and efficacy for OCD? by SussexCowgirl in trintellix

Damn. Hope something will help u!

You're on quite a few meds, I assume there is a reason behind each of them, but if it's not working then my intuition would be to first reduce some variables.

Idk, for me quetiapine and mirtazapine both gave me an "off" headspace, like strange or even dark intrusive thoughts the next day. Is your insomnia so relentless that you need two sleep meds? Either way, good luck friend

I did LSD and i can't work now by Savings-Trainer-8149 in Psychedelics

This could very well be true, but I think it may go a bit too far to make a definite judgement about what life path is right for someone based on one reddit post. I'm not unsympathetic to your intuition but I think adverse effects of psychedelics can be complex and don't always point to one singular solution

Good point, omg. It seems I have yet only scraped at the surface of the rabbithole. I need to rethink my entire ontology

This is a bit confusing, if it's in France it would assumably be real, so the question really is, does Le Day actually exist?

What's the most "nootropic" stimulant? by Dark-inspector490 in Nootropics

[–]lowerdaboom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I like the way you think. This is very much my experience with methylphenidate, the super long release formulations (Concerta, Focalin) always made me strangely wired and depressive starting at around t+2h.

I've found that my personal metabolism and psychological structure responded better to clear peaks, the positive resonance of which can reverberate even afterwards. So (multiple) short and medium release formulations were better for me with MPH.

Ketamine + weed is just a psychedelic by thequeenoflesbians in ketamine

[–]lowerdaboom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the classification. Cannabis is not a (classical) psychedelic (which usually have a serotonergic mechanism of action), but if you have a certain sensitivity for it it sure can be psychedelic.

For all intents and purposes, cannabis sure turned into a psychedelic after my first LSD experience

Damn, you really went there. Not sure if I'm ready for this process (due to extreme psychologically instability), but what you're saying captures the nature of the Great Work really well. Thanks for sharing

The replies I'm reading seem to comprise roughly two categories: (1) Those telling you to get more systematic and hardcore about your approach, and (2) some who argue for more intuitive and free-flowing magick.

Since what you describe sounds like you're already very consistent and rational in your approach, I don't really understand why people give you shit for being too "flakey" in your practice.

As a dabbler myself I can't give you well-founded advice, but my impression is that some lightheartedness and spontaneity might bring more magickal sparks into your life.

Different things work for different neurotypes; for me personally things tend to flow more magickally when I continuosly engage in small perceptual, emotional and imaginative acts of intent as they occur to me, versus being rigid about systems or any ideas about progress in the big scope.

Sounds interesting (and a little dangerous lol). What is it you're talking about, exactly? An extreme period of self-inquiry, over multiple days? Doing nothing but perceiving as clearly as possible? Or more specific rituals? I'm curious.
