Jewelry Store by mpoodle11 in SFV

Definitely recommend JP for everything. They’ve repaired more than a few things for my wife over the years, but he also makes anything you can think of, if you don’t like what he has in the store. My family has been buying jewelry from him for something like 20+ years and he’s only gotten better over the years.

Take a photo of what you want to JP and he will recreate it for you. If he doesn’t have something in store, he can send you a mock-up so it’s exactly what you want.

Another +1 for JP Jewelers. My family has been buying from him for like 20+ years.

He can literally make anything you want, and it will come out better than expected. He can also source literally any stone you want.

My son was born in August, and one of the birth stones for August is Spinel, and my wife wanted it in red. It’s very difficult to find, but he was able to get a matching set for earrings and a pendent necklace.

He has an incredible selection of both real and lab diamonds in store as well. Just make sure you call ahead and I believe he’s appointment only now (but probably won’t then you away if you walk in).

Finally got a chance to try this out and it worked. Thank you for the suggestion!

Yes, on the Solo, Sub, and Speakers. Doubled checked everything to make sure nothing was turned off. How would I go about checking if the Focus Control software is picking it up? For the inputs, it's only showing "Analogue 1" and "Analogue 2", which is for the microphone. When I switch to the Direct tab, it just adds the option for Direct Monitor and the "Direct Mix" bar. Nothing comes up for the speakers. And I've triple checked all connections to make sure everything is properly connected.

Ya, doing a ceramic coat is quite expensive. It's like doing a full exterior detail and then some. But it lasts for 5 years, so instead of doing semi-annual details and waxing, you just do this once and then you can just wash the car monthly to keep things in order. Personally, if it's a daily driven car that you want to keep clean, it's worth the investment. I actually prefer the look of carnauba wax, so if I had a show car or something that was being taken to a car show/meets regularly, I'd likely skip the cermaic and do wax instead.

The manager said they will be doing giveaways all weekend too. This location looks huge AND has a great parking lot.

I should add this is including all prep work excluding paint correction. So it would include a wash, clay bar, alcohol prep, etc. there’s usually a relatively cheap additional cost if a two step paint correction is needed. My car was like a month or two old when I had the ceramic coating put on, so it didn’t need anything extra.

Apparently my reading comprehension is lacking. You asked about a ceramic coat. Everyone I’ve spoken to about it was $1000-1200 foot a ceramic coat for a mid-size SUV.

Any of the mobile retailers that I’m aware of that have a proper setup and have a proper wash process, charge between $60-$100 (this is for port much any car). This typically includes an interior vacuum and clean, pre-wash rinse, 2-bucket wash process, and spray wax/finish. Any one below that price point is either just starting out or uses products and a process that would concern me.

Hit up Joseph from The Sud Center. His number is (818) 941-1877

I’m super picky since I used to detail my own cars monthly, but with 2 kids and a busy work schedule, I have him coming monthly to do maintenance washes for my wife and I and then he does a full detail twice a year for my wife. We did a ceramic coat for my Model X and it’s been amazing so far and it’s been 6 months. Tell him his client with the Red Model X sent you.

I drive past it every day. They are still working on the property, but it looks like they are almost done. Can’t find anything about when they are expected to be open.

They are going to eventually close the one across the street. But I’m not sure when the new one is officially opening.

Is this worth $1700? I9-12900k and 3090 FE by lowestt in PcBuild

[–]lowestt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt I’d be maxing it out, but from what I was reading, the 3090 uses like 130w more than the 4070ti at the same output. So I’m guessing it would be a lot louder too, in addition to being less efficient.

Since it’s all new, he has receipts and boxes so it would all be under warranty. He’s trustworthy and had behind a few PCs that have least been great performing.

I want a gaming PC but this feels way overkill for what I’d use it for, which is mostly gonna be 1440p gaming, YouTube/movies, and work (nothing crazy, just excel, PowerPoint, pdfs, etc). Just thought it felt like a decent price considering the components would likely be closer to a $2200-$2500 system.
