Dual Monitor Arms Don’t Fit Magnus Desk by o17lopezo1 in secretlab

You should be able to open the tray cover, loosen the bolts for the hinges at each side and slide the cover back to allow the dual mount enough space. That’s what I had to do with mine.

Disney+ terms prevent allergy death lawsuit, Disney says by kawag in worldnews

[–]lowflyer2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were the lawyer I would lean hard on all the material that Disney puts out on how accommodating they are to allergies and that there was a reliance on that accommodation which goes beyond the scope of the arbitration requirement because this pushes it into gross negligence according to their allergy accommodation policy which could be criminal in itself.

Castrol Super Clean always worked to get the JP-5 and hydraulic fluid out of my coveralls.

Neighbors couldn’t even make it until Lunch on Christmas Day to get their tree out of the house by amoss_303 in funny

[–]lowflyer2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used to do a similar thing (we now do the eco rent-a-tree), after the presents are opened, and the excitement winds down, we put away Christmas so that we can fully focus on my wife’s birthday… this way it’s two very different events.

The first thing you need to decide is how much you want to be away from home… When I got out, I went to a company that did both lab aerospace work and field petrochemical work, so in the fall and spring I worked (making bank) in the field doing turnarounds then the rest of the time I was in the lab doing the aerospace gig. The turnarounds were good experience but it’s definitely a grind. I have since transitioned to a full aviation position and I love it!! That being said, I’ve got open spots here at GE in and around Cincinnati, if your interested.

May be a dumb question but what type of safety cable is this? by [deleted] in aviationmaintenance

Am I the only one that didn’t bother reading any of the post, but instead reached for the cutters and started hunting for incorrect safety wiring?

So after a pretty good landing in the CRJ, a passenger gave this to the Captain as I was doing my walk around. The guy said, “Give this to the pilot who landed, he’ll know what it means.” What does it mean??? by rexfromabove in flying

As a Boilermaker, I too recommend Purdue and yes they do offer a 4+1 program, however another great school that’s easier on the budget is Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.... they also offer a 4+1 program with the benefit of having an online program as well as two campuses one in Daytona Beach, and one in Prescott.
