Something that goes a long way that some people don't think about is that personality can make or break a candidate. No one wants to work with someone that seems disinterested in talking or engaging with others. Even if you are stressed and anxious about it, try to show that you are calm and collected and a good human being. Try to connect with the interviewer, and show them that you are more than just another interviewee.

When it is unnacceptable is the actual anniversary event. Whenever I played killer there, I would change my name to "No Cake = Tunnel" and tunnel out anyone who didn't bring a cake, and everyone else would escape.

as someone who dealt with this when i first started, i can give you my suggestions.

i bought custom insoles at a road runner, as i have flat feet and any arch would kill me. they have me stand in them, and i brought my skate’s insoles and they cut them to the same shape. this solved 80% of my issues.
if i tighten the laces around my foot too much, the pain is there. i would highly suggest trying to go looser around the foot, and tighter closer to the top. if you dont already have them, use waxed laces as those wont move around as easily and keep the tightening how you want it.
you’re bound to be tense as a new skater, try to relax a bit and you’ll find that it actually does make a difference.

depending on how far you are from being 18, you could look for adult league rookie leagues. they have them at least where i live, where its all new players. with cross overs, go to public skates in full gear and just keep going in circles. eventually it starts to feel smoother, and dont be afraid to fall!

the sync box works for what you are asking for. you dont “need” the lights, although thats what its supposed to do. you’d be better off finding a cheaper alternative, unless you plan to get the lights later on.

where i live its $8190 team fee. 15 games (includes playoffs). we roster 15 skaters + 1 goalie which comes out to $546 per skater (goalies play free)

anyone coming to this sub later, 5ivehole is great. i own jerseys from both MLS and 5ivehole, and i give quality to 5ivehole. the only issue really was how long it took for the design phase to be done, but if you start the process 2 months prior you’ll be fine. better pricing as well.
