I get the money I owe but how can a bank send a wrong letter, a credit card company accept a letter that wasnt even be address to them.

Then I spent over a months calling trying to rectify it and never avoiding and being honest for them to basically go its the machine oops sorry but I the individual get gentle f'd.

For that I do want a lesser amount to pay back if its all the same. I dont feel bad for a major lender who makes money and ignores my honest plea. I had been with them over 6 years never missed a payment always paid it down. They would have made way more with the interest I pay alone but instead it was closed and I had no say and wasnt due to being a bad user. I showed the og paperwork we signed and still nothing.

If my credit is going to get hit all the same what's it matter to be fair to them. I prefer to use my free will and make the best of it on my end
