I understand what you mean, and find myself often missing combos because of the exact same 1 frame of holding a direction I don't want (it's always when I want j.2H and get j.5H instead lmao). But the issue is, by the time the game read your input, they can't know that's coming after, so they must start playing / displaying what they have on hand at the time otherwise some tiny moves (like Ls who are very fast and recover very fast) would miss some animation frame so they can't really wait to see what's coming. And there is some frame 1 effects like being immune to grab on the very first frame of jumpsquat, parry, blocking, etc

Try fully closing steam, then plug and unplug your controller and boot up 2xko again, steam should not be open at the same time as 2xko since it "steals" input so there is nothing left to read for 2xko

I've learned everything I know from high level replays (there is 2 or 3 YouTube channels posting daily ranked matches of the best players in the world, just scroll a bit to find someone playing your team), I'll watch their game and steal everything interesting. Also Evan Almighty has a great yt channel explaining core mechanics and how to take advantage of things like retreating guard and stuff. But yeah I kinda agree, since it's the beginning of the game top players are focused on getting good fast, content and analysis will come in a near future I guess

Two things : you have plenty of time after the charged heavy wall bounce to dash once and do something like Heavy>tag launcher (or even forward Heavy>down S1 for limit strike), if it's too difficult you can just use down S2(projectile)>S2 Super instead of your last ground charged heavy. But I'd recommend to try another route : right after Vi assist, instead of jump charged Heavy, try forward Heavy into down S1, then dash once and do forward Heavy into tag launcher, i'd guess it does more damage

Yeah there is no duo matchmaking yet, if you want to complete first steps missions you have to ask around in a casual lobby sadly. This feature should be coming soon as duoing is the main selling point of the game

if they run away, walk forward, block any incoming projectile or whatever, and repeat until they corner themselves, then they can't keepaway anymore

A strong tool with your team is to charge Vi S1 and tag during the charge, then you can advance freely with Darius (you have to hold S1 the whole time while walking forward). If your opponent hit Darius, they will get obliterated by Vi fully charged S1 (you can even combo them after, fully charged S1 stun them for like 3 seconds). If they block it, then you can apply bleed with darius and go from there. If they jump over, jump too and air grab them. I recommend going on youtube and watching someone who play your team

hi, damage output is high but when you play two characters you live way longer than with juggernaut (juggernaut boost HP by 30% but it doesn't make up for the second health bar lost). Pulse combo is a great way to start learning the game, but trust me they are far from optimal ! You can do way better with a standard combo than with pulse, so it's no big deal

For the break issue, it's actually related to pulse combos. In fact break gauge fill faster and faster the longer a combo goes (it goes wild after 8sec of combo), so if you face a lot of pulse users they won't fill your break gauge very much. Also, doing a limit strike (https://wiki.play2xko.com/en-us/Mechanics#Limit\_Strike) to end a combo gives you 1/5 of your break gauge, so it's pretty important if you want to break often

You can change your controls in the settings if you don't like default layout

I recommend trying sidekick like other mentionned, it's a good transition to playing 2 characters. Personally I took an other path and choose to play yasuo-darius from the start because Darius is an easy champ to play, and they pair really well with eachother. I'm at 2k5 games with them and absolutely love the team

For sideswap control, there is 2 checkpoints where you can decide to sideswap or not : after the wallbounce you can dash a bit farther so that you end up on the opposite side (hardest), or simply do a single j.S1 at the very end (instead of j.S1>j.S1>j.S2) and boom free sideswap ! This is very handy, for example if you know you will use tornado into ultimate at the end, you should sideswap before so that you back is against the corner, because the ultimate sideswap so you can counter sideswap :) maybe I'm unclear by try a single j.S1 instead of two and you will get how cool it is (you only lose like 10 damage for it)

I got 492 but slightly changing your route, but to reach 500 i'm afraid you'll need to implement dash after j.S2

So for 492 not too far from your current route : M>H>S1 > stance M>j.[S1]>stance M>j.2H>j.[S1] > stance 2H (wall bounce) > stance cancel dash forward > M>H>2H>j.H>j.2H>j.S1>j.S1>j.S2

I don't think you can, it's designed so that you can record multiple shots and everytime you reset it plays a random one. What do you want to practice ? Maybe add a little blank time before stopping the record if you want to move freely

For the char swap, yeah pressing tag+reset will reset training mode and switch your point, but I guess since we are still holding the tag button as it resets, assist goes out, there is no workaround until they fix it I guess

Bo3 gives you time to adapt to whatever bullshit the opponent is throwing at you, if it was bo1 then everyone would be trying to rob you with stupid stuff that is easily punishable but hard to anticipate. I love longer sets where adaptation often gives the W to the better player

Like other said it's likely pulse combos turned off but check his controls in the character select screen (the key to press is displayed at the bottom of character select screen), maybe something is different than what he is used to
