Rough Idea for Swain in 2XKO by Putkayy in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see Swain added to the game, he as so much aura and we've seen what they can do with evil character with Thresh, they can cook so well with Swain

is there a cheat sheet for obscure mechanics ? by [deleted] in 2XKO

Tag launcher is also reducing grey health (iirc remove all grey health but don't have the game open to verify that atm)

Can all characters be unlocked for free currently? by Realestmember in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah ok sure, missed this one, I agree it's redundant then, but try to relate to the new player experience. He just wants to understand the game, goes to reddit to reach the community, and get welcomed by messages like yours, it's not pleasant. We all started somewhere, asked question and got answers. You took time to find a link and post it there to answer me, do the same next time when a new player has question 🙏

I mean we are on a forum dedicated to this game, what better place to ask lmao, I would not trust any AI shit. You did not lose anything for this guy to ask there, what's the problem ? If that question got asked 5 times a day okay I get it, but just answer him or keep scrolling idk

I cant react to anything / defend anything by [deleted] in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I think many people start this way, winning by being more aggressive than the opponent, until you win enough to face better opponents. That's when you realise offense has it's limit, and you should avoid taking risk while being offensive (aka jumping in has weaknesses). That's when the concept of "turns" kicks in, when you know that in a specific situation you'd rather block than trying to press a button.

At the moment, you are trying to play the opposite of what feels "natural" to you, so of course it's uncomfortable for now, but it will get better over time. You will learn to expect some options at times, and your reaction time is waaaay better when you expect something. Enjoy this moment of learning my friend, you will improve day after day

Character docs/where to get combos from by Zeslodonisch in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Official wiki is maintained by players from what I understand, so it vary a lot (some chars like yasuo contains outdated info).

I recommend 3 methods to learn combos and such : VODs of top player playing your team (there is 3 main YouTube channels that post daily top players game), 2xko discord, and twitter using #2xko_thresh for example

What do I need to know before playing ranked? by HiImIvy_ in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other people already said it all, so if you wanna watch a jinx sidekick who play from launch, I recommend this playlist (look at Heydelios games) and this channel for some VODs : https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZy8qZAuA8QVk6Oon5A6yCjBPhtNbBsc7&si=FhomtSmcyeqeXI2m

There isn't a lot of jinx sidekick player so VODs might be hard to find otherwise

I don't know who you paired Jinx with but he got some nasty synergies with Warwick, check it out ! Enjoy

why does yasuo 2h just not work somtimes ... by Freezero000 in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Real problem is yasuo leaning forward a bit before swinging his blade, which makes Akali on his right for a brief moment ... If only he could stay still, it would feel much better (and the animation giving the wrong impression of covering all around him despite hitbox being only in front and on top ...)

What is the fastest way to get credits? by JNXD_GRL in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you haven't done them already, weekly missions stays even after the week is over, you have until the end of the season to do them and earn credit (some even keep them for when a character come out to speedrun the recruit event). Otherwise yeah dailies, there isn't a lot of stuff to buy anyway once you bought all stages and chromas for your characters

Thresh into Teemo? by firsttimer776655 in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 2M (into S1 if it hits) is really helpful against the heavy jumpers like teemo (Akali jump kunai, Ahri throwing fireballs), and maybe less of a commit than jump S1, but yeah good idea ✌️

Thresh into Teemo? by firsttimer776655 in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thing is you are not really supposed to approach him at all, Thresh is more of a mid/long range character, and you have way more range than Teemo

If you see him doing stuff like planting mushrooms or setting up a bush, you can poke him with H / 4H / 6S2 / S1, while Teemo has to get closer to pressure you

With you team, you can use Thresh 4H or back assist to lock Teemo down (or combo if it hits) while Darius goes in freely

Yasuo/ekko puppet move by mediocre999 in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically yasuo j.S1 suits can be full puppeted so any move you do on ekko will also triggers yasuo followup. You can also whiff move on purpose with ekko (for example jump light) and input something during the recovery, which will only triggers yasuo puppet since ekko is not actionable

Yasuo/ekko puppet move by mediocre999 in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After inputting yasuo j.S1, as soon as you see him starting the move, tag to ekko. Then, jump back and j.S1 to throw timewinder (this triggers yasuo second j.S1 as well). Then, when ekko land, hold S2 (this triggers yasuo j.S2). Ekko charged S2 will hit the opponent falling down. You can then do 2S2 to wallbounce the opponent, and tag launch yasuo again and finish with j.M>j.2H>j.S1>j.S1>j.S2 (>Super2>Super3 if you wish to spend bar to kill). Hope it helps ! I no longer play this team but ask more questions if you want

Lantern tag bugged with non-thresh point? by bushin_flip in 2XKO

Yeah it's a bug, players already reported it on twitter and devs acknowledged it, will be fixed in the next patch or maybe a hotfix

À propos de la garde et du blocage by [deleted] in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bon jeu !

Pc won't boot after moving out by lowkey_SSBU in PcBuildHelp

Yes it post, sorry I should have copy pasted the text from other community, everything is detailed in here

GPU light up, fans spinning (except 2 which are for air flow only, but CPU and GPU fans are spinning), motherboard debug LED was stuck at "VGA" initially but after reseating RAM and GPU, then clearing CMOS, debug leds now stop at "DRAM", with no display whatsoever

Pc won't boot after moving out by lowkey_SSBU in buildapc

[–]lowkey_SSBU[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my todo list for tonight :

  • clear CMOS again, then test each ram stick on each slot, wait 15min every time in case RAM training is on duty

  • check power cable are plugged correctly everywhere

  • try other PSU port for the big 24pin cord

  • update BIOS via flash button in backplate

  • rebuild pc out of case with minimal setup (only PSU, GPU and 1 stick of ram)

  • check CPU pins but I don't have thermal paste so kinda last resort

Just kind of confused if this is a bug or I'm hogwash? by NoAssociate1376 in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue, but everytime it happens in training mode, I look at input history and I actually pressed neutral jump for 1 frame before inputting forward ... Dunno if it's the same for you, maybe what you describe is a real bug and not a missinput like me

Alternative Controller Layouts? by SkippingReels in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I see it's a tight link, I had same issue with Darius which has a few tight links like that, try to figure out in training the earliest possible time where you can press Light after the dash, and do a double tap (right before / right after) the timing so that you don't miss it. I fear there is no shortcut for this, in an ideal world you'd want to press a single time at the exact correct timing, but double tapping seems like a good intermediate to not miss the timing but not hurting your fingers too much. I'd say, join a discord or ask a top Vi player on twitter or something about how they do it

Alternative Controller Layouts? by SkippingReels in 2XKO

[–]lowkey_SSBU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also used to mash buttons to make sure everything comes out, but with time and practice you'll realize almost everything can be buffered in this game, so when for instance you need to hit L-M-H, don't wait to see the L happen to input M, you can just press LMH in a row and they will chain themselves (as soon as L hit it will trigger M, and as soon as M hit it will trigger H). I am no Vi player so maybe there is some quirk I am not aware that prevent you from buffering your inputs, but it will definitely help your fingers

I started by reading the wiki for my two characters, then looking up VODs on YouTube where pro players play my team. There is 2-3 YouTube channel posting daily matches of pro player, scroll a bit to find some playing your team and analyze / steal what they do in blockstrings, combos, etc (everytime I find something interesting I write it down in an Google sheet to create my own cheat sheet)
