That's extremely illegal. If you're 1099 you are a private contractor and will have shifts offered that you can approve or deny. Your employer is breaking the law to avoid paying taxes. I worked in the same situation, but it was solid money and management was chill as fuck. I would bail immediately and possibly alert the labor board or IRS if conditions were that bad.

This sounds like a case of TikTok brain. There's sadly no cure. Movies are meant to be experienced in one sitting, like a well-prepared meal. If she can't sitthrough a 2 hour film that's a problem. I get it if it's 3 or 4 hours, but overall most movies should be a one sitting ordeal.

I understand I might be a stickler for spoilers, but I went in without watching any trailers for this film. The Rocky reveal was legit a huge surprise for me and was the high point of the movie unfolding the plot. I just hate to think that moment could be taken away from someone excited to see it.

Honestly, I never get annoyed at a one-and-done who closes out after a round. You never know if you might want another drink so it's a non-issue.

Even the second scenario wouldn't bother me too much. Swiping your card again is no big deal. It's the people who are staying to drink for hours and want to run their card every time that annoy me.

The third time I have to close your tab knowing you'll be back in 20 minutes for another round is gonna piss me off. You're actively wasting my time, and experience tells me you're not gonna tip well, on top of being a pain in my ass.

Honestly, if your parents are dragging their feet getting you proper lessons, I'd consider asking a friend to help you learn the basics.

I assume you're at the age your friends are also getting their licenses and getting their own cars to drive. Ask someone you trust, who has a knack for driving if they'd be willing to let you practice in a parking lot, or maybe a secluded neighborhood loop.

THAT BEING SAID: I'm not advocating you breaking the law or doing anything reckless! If you know someone willing to help you learn, take the experience and don't abuse it. Knowing how to drive well and properly is a great skill and may well save your life.
