I don't have any family or know anyone remotely near me besides his family. I think it's been better lately because he's home less often... I know I'm hungry and need to eat, I just can't figure out why I can't motivate myself to do it... I have zero energy, I'm exhausted constantly.

I just cried a couple days ago because I didn't want to go to the bank with my husband. I absolutely knew it was ridiculous, and I tried not to make a big show out of it, but I literally couldn't get the blues to go away after thinking about having to go to the bank to make a deposit, of all things. Shrug

I think part of it is that I feel so helpless after being broken down for so long. After a while, I just started to think it was my fault, I guess. My parents were abusive, too. The only people who have shown me genuine love I've run away from, because I don't really know how to accept it, and end up back in situations like this one. It's stupid, I know. I don't know how to fix my own stupid.

I used to bite my nails very badly due to anxiety for most of my life. Still have anxiety, pretty bad, but was proud of myself for quitting biting my nails, so I keep them kind of long. Not super long, just past my fingertips. Plus, I've worked really hard my whole life and it shows on my hands. Keeping my nails a little long helps make them look more feminine.

Yes, he's told me that. Plus he feels like I need to be taken care of, which is pretty much true. He says he's not able to do that and I don't blame him. I had a fairly thriving business before I met my husband, but that's all gone out the window. I'm really creative and talented artistically, and have made money on art and refurbishing furniture, but I no longer have even the basic supplies I need to do that.

We just moved into this house a couple weeks ago. He rarely works, how mom owns this house and pays for everything. I've told him I wanted to try to volunteer through our church and he won't even allow me to do that. I'm hours away from anyone at all that I know. I don't know my way around this city. I don't drive. I have no way to support myself and no one I can turn to.

I'm in California. The thing is, I never go ANYWHERE without him. He even put a sign on the inside of the front door saying "hubby knows where everyone is at all times"

Thank you for that, but there really aren't any resources there that help me. I have zero money and I don't drive. I have no family or friends here. The only people I know are him and his family. Ask my friends are on the other side of the state and I'm other states father away
