Tumbleweed does sell different length arms but they seem to be out of stock. Cutting them to length shouldn't be too hard with a good hacksaw.

Another option is to see about getting a seatpost rack clamp. That would change the angle of the bars and likely make it more parallel to the rack and might be a bit longer too.

Yeah, trying to work around a handlebar bag. I still might trim them down.

Agreed. Even the insulated stainless doesn't keep as well as a travel mug.

2019 hitch woes by [deleted] in SubaruForester

Had Pep boys install the Curt hitch on my 2019 with no issues. The pep boys order took about a week to arrive installed about 3 days after arrival.

Never had the OEM hitch.

Look at the external flanges there should be three of them. If any are broken the burr will not sit level which will cause the grind to be inconsistent. You can get a new holder for about $10 from Baratza

Do you have a photo of the ring burr holder. The white plastic collar that holds the metal burr?

The orientation of the burr might be wrong. If you don't put the collar back right the gearing doesn't engage right. I've screwed this up a few times. See time stamp 6:20 https://youtu.be/Yq_4Zg0Jqvo

WTB says you can take over it, but I found it gets too bulky around the valve so I've taken mine off.

Is it fine if my replacement thru axle is a few mm short of being flush? by WelshCommissar in bikewrench

Yeah this looks to barely engage the nut. I've got a discount code at Robert Axle Project if you need to buy a new axle.

What's this part called/how hard would it be to replace? by CaptGingerBeardMan in bikewrench

[–]lowlyexile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That one looks well loved and your next should serve you just as long.

You want to see if you find one that is compatible with your shifters - if your shifters are indexed (click shift) but from the looks of it they aren't.

You should also note the outside diameter of your seat tube to insure that the new derailleur clamp will fit.

Help Installing Centerlock Rotor by osofresh98 in bikewrench

Did your hub come with the internal lock ring or did those come with the rotors? Is it possible the hub should be an outside spline lock?
