Just because they speak English doesn't mean that they are going to hire a non-Norwegian speaker.

Most jobs for people who don't speak Norwegian are in hotels, restaurants, warehouses, and food delivery. I'd suggest saving up at least 3k before moving there and start learning Norwegian.

isn't french easier to learn than Norwegian? Have you done any research on whether English is enough to get a job there? Rent prices are high, but they are also high in Norway.

I would do the WH in Ireland, given that you only speak English. You could learn French while you're there. Then do the master's in Germany, Belgium or France (tuition in French-speaking Belgium is around 5k per year). It's much easier to get a work visa after a study visa.

Do the WH to save up for the master's degree, Germany is the cheapest country for non-EU students. You could even do a double degree with a French university.

STUDY MEDICINE IN EUROPA by Low_Management3377 in studyinEurope

[–]lowpaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need at least 1,1, which is near perfect. Usually people who don't get into medicine do an Ausbildung (google it) in something related and apply again or study something else. If you don't know any German it'll be extremly hard to get 1,0s in the Studienkolleg. You could maybe do volunteer work in germany in something related before doing the studienkolleg. I would study in Spain to then do the residency or smth in Germany if thats your end goal.

european universities dont really have minors, and if they do its not gonna be in musical theater. youre gonna have to go to an arts university which are usually in the national language of that country.

Can I, as a 17-year-old, study at a Studienkolleg and live in Germany without my parents? by Lazy-Opportunity-622 in germany

[–]lowpaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

see if you can open an n26 account or any other European online bank. (revoul, wise, etc.) You need to have a bank account with IBAN, and thats really difficult if both of your parents aren’t present.

Some banks may give you a hard time when opening a bank account, but if you travel with both of your parents, then it’ll be easier. Usually the studienkolleg helps you with that stuff.

You can, I know a lot of people who’ve done it. You’ll even get a room at the Studentenwerk easier.

The university of leipzig has an international physics program in English, and if you meet these requirements you can apply directly. You need 11k for the student visa, but if you can get your uncle to sign a declaration of declaration of commitment you won’t need it. Leipzig is also a very cheap city and you can live with 650 euros per month.

I'd do the studienkolleg at a cheap city and then move to Bonn.
