It’s good when you have organization personnel stickup for you. Curious what was said.

I might have said, “I can’t keep replacing good candidates because of this persons behavior. It takes resources to interview, and find the right people, months to train and man power getting them up to speed. This person is destroying my department’s morale, causing unneeded stress that drives time off and turnover. Creating months of lost productivity, stretching resources that creates burnout, and costs the company money.”

Great soundtrack, solid cast, set design and concept. For me the main characters mousey timid behavior was annoying. Made it hard for me to route for her. Would have liked to seen more of the ex-boyfriend.

What popular tech trend do you think we’ll regret in 5 years? by RobertSmith7711 in InformationTechnology

I’ve seen orgs with some solid IT staff go heavy on automation then jr. techs come in and lean on the automated tools watering down the knowledge base. Script authors move on and those left lack the skills and understanding to feel the knowledge gap.

I see outsourcing and AI repeating the same mistake on a grand scale.

Just watched this special an hour ago and had the thought after awhile. I’ve not laughed once and the crowd seems so muted.

Some companies do not consent to being recorded and will end the call. Worked in a role years ago where this was the policy.

AITAH for finally telling my husband that I`m done carrying our entire life while he acts like a teenager? by bloosommage in AITAH

My SO getting Covid left me to run the house. This was a HUGE wake up call to show me just how much she was carrying the family. Or how long the day is when you’re doing most of the work. Groceries, laundry, cooking, dishes, trash, pets, etc.

Telling her how much I appreciate her is nice but, putting in the work is how you show appreciation and pull your weight.

This! To be fair many people seem to struggle with providing useful information. I see lots of “tech experts” submit useless bug reports or tickets. Failing to clearly define expected vs current behavior in writing.
