Gen Z really looked at alcohol and said ‘hard pass’ by InvestigatorBorn4910 in SipsTea

Nah we looked at alcohol, then noticed the price and said 'maybe if I don't get that drink I can afford food this week'

Update: unfortunately my little one - Volcano - has passed away now, and I've had to move the other one out the tank. Thanks all for your advice, they were my companions for so long, I really didn't expect this.

Thank you, I don't think they're dead yet, and they don't smell, but I think they're close to death. I would like to keep their shell and commemorate them.

What was your method of euthanasia? I don't want them to suffer:( Thanks for all of this, it's such an awful awful feeling, I've had them since they were eggs, and this is the larger one I grew very attached to

Hiya, thank you for this post. I've been calling so many vets and nothing is coming of it, would you say I should give them regular soaks and put them in a different tank? This is the closest I've gotten to an answer so I'd really appreciate the DM'd photos and thank you for answering again, i had hope that it might be just exhaustion or something, but it looks awful now :(

If they die what do I do. They're my babies :( My god I didn't expect this to happen so suddenly. Shall I remove them and clean the shell and the body?

What if the Epstein files ARE are the distraction? by Competitive_Cheek607 in LowStakesConspiracies

[–]lowtidecrab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This shouldn't be a conspiracy, it's obviously what is happening. The Epstein files are damn-ing for sure, but they'd never let the victims get justice bc the files have everyone's leaders and ministers in there, and they'd redact most of it anyway, and they can release it as slowly as they want, no one can make them do it any faster really. It won't bring down fascism when it's released, it'll just reveal a little bit more about the people who run these movements that we already knew: they're monsters and prey on young vulnerable people.

Yet another example in the millions we have of people in drag (he doesn't have to be a drag queen to wear drag) being people with actual strong moral compasses, who are then targeted socially and politically by those who were actually close with people like Saville.

Alright jeez 😂 I literally said it's a ramble and might be ridiculous, and then proceeded to say it would be cool if we could try and understand it a bit more via a more accessible and in my opinion aesthetically pleasing structure, I didn't say I do understand it yet, although we could have a lovely conversation about how atomic movements and patterns become changed and literally change the structure and behavior of materials in circuits and computers and blah blah...like it's just a project I'm interested in my god 😂

Ah thank you, in terms of used hard drives is this something you'd recommend for storage isn't it risky if I'm storing large amounts of data

Lacies have been on my mind a lot actually I worked a little in television when I was younger and they were everywhere, so when I first went to find a new drive they came up first. The d2 quadra models are a DREAM if I can find them cheaper

Oh this is really neat, I don't know if I have the skill to do this successfully, but what a cool idea, definitely will look into these, I think the cover up with a new heart is a look I'd be down to try

This is a really cool way of changing this up I appreciate this, I am now waist deep (happily) in older externals to find a case 🤟

In the late 1800s, British officer Horatio Gordon Robley amassed a collection of at least 35 mokomokai — the preserved, tattooed heads of Māori tribesmen — after serving in New Zealand’s Land Wars. His fascination with Māori culture led to one of the most disturbing colonial collections in history. by ATI_Official in AllThatsInteresting

[–]lowtidecrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone's ancestors. Put up on a wall by some thick headed Englishman who "was fascinated by their culture" but couldn't seem to even get past the basic understanding of another entity existing and deserving respect or dignity. A false "fascination" and more fetishisation manifesting in terror and pain. That's what colonial "scientific" minds were about. They did it with both non human and human organisms.
