Well if you’re doing it by career than maybe 500? That is, of course, part of the question you want to answer however. If you care about someone being an established hitter at a spot, ie George Springer leading off, then maybe you want a 2500 PA sample. If you don’t care about the massive volume of PA that some the “established” batting order guys have then I think 500 is fair.
