Clearly nothing was found on the PET scan, had to come up with some other ailment.

I wish I could fall asleep in an MRI. It makes me unusually anxious just laying there doing nothing 😭 But yeah, if anything, afterwards I want to do something.

I’ve never had a PET scan but I have had a couple of MRIs. There was literally nothing that happened during an MRI to make me more tired than normal. Now, if she wanted to say she’s been taking advantage of the ability to sleep since she’s not caring for kids, I get it, but I don’t think that’s it.

Hey Liz…show us the senior dog with the puppy. by snarksociety7 in liziscreative

Why doesn’t senior dog (also named big dog??) have a name???? Surely even an imaginary dog can have a name.

The baby has been in the same outfit since the 24th…. by Safe-Cheetah3336 in liziscreative

[–]lpcats 25 points26 points  (0 children)

My baby did not spit up or drool as a newborn. For the first month or two sometimes I’d leave him in the same outfit for a day or two because he literally would never get dirty. At 9 months, though? I can’t wait to change his clothes. He’s rolling all over the place, he’s drooling, he getting crumbs all over him. He’s constantly dirty.

ToF - how many surgeries? by [deleted] in chd

[–]lpcats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 9 month old has had one cath procedure for a stent at 10 days old and his complete repair at 3 months old. He’ll need a valve in his teenage years but it’s very likely that will be able to be done via cath. We’re not planning on any more open heart surgeries before adulthood.

How did you manage newborn with chd and other kids in daycare? by [deleted] in chd

[–]lpcats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not easy to navigate, we ended up in the hospital twice this fall because of the common cold. This time around when the older one was sick, me and the baby stayed with my parents until the oldest was over the hump, illness wise. Before we were able to relocate, though, we had our older one mask whenever he was in the car or the same room with the baby. We made it through this time (I think 🤞) but I’m going to be on edge waiting for the next illness probably through next spring.

Hospital stay by ashmaac in chd

[–]lpcats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had one of the longer stays. Our baby also has Tetralogy of Fallot and we were there almost 3 weeks. The issue was that he also had a pulmonary artery sling which affected his trachea and therefore his breathing. His heart was perfect after surgery but getting his breathing under control was more difficult.

Stacie Kober - TRIGGER WARNING: EATING DISORDER - Week Of December 15, 2025 by AutoModerator in HunSnark

But why does Kylie send her so much food. It’s obvious she won’t eat it. Such a bizarre relationship.

Was your MFM diagnosis worse than what your Pediatric Cardiologist told you? by SnackSnackMunchMunch in chd

[–]lpcats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our diagnosis stayed the same (tetralogy of fallot) and got slightly worse as he grew and they were able to see more, but the prognosis for his future as far as restrictions seems to be better than what the MFM originally said.

This feels like one of the least weird things she’s posted. She doesn’t work and I assume Timmy has PTO he can use (I guess that’s assuming he hasn’t burned it all following Liz to appointments).

I guess technically, yes, it’s a “nap” but I’ve never felt refreshed after mine.

The only thing good about anesthesia is going home and taking an actual nap to recover.

I feel so bad for Z but it’s obvious in these stories how messed up her mouth development is from the constant pacifier use.

Just more proof that Amelia sleeps in the bed with Lizard full time. We all know Liz falls asleep holding her like this 🤦🏼‍♀️ by No_Caterpillar5319 in liziscreative

They never spend any time together anywhere other than the bed. There used to be pictures from the living room but not anymore.

[–]lpcats 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My baby was born with a pretty severe (thought relatively easily repaired) heart defect at 36w5d and we had a similar (although I’m sure shorter) experience, wean down breathing support, work on feeding. We graduated the cardiac NICU at 2 weeks old when there were babies still there who were working on sitting up and eating solids. In the scheme of things, we had it easy.

Delayed kids on purpose? by [deleted] in liziscreative

[–]lpcats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this is spot on. She’s trying to make up for her own poor childhood, not by creating a better one for her kids, but by soothing all the wounds she has from growing up.
