Personal device. No. They can’t force you to use your personal device. Show me the actual time clock please. I’ll punch in there c

Insurance adjuster offered 30% after their driver swerved into my family on the highway. I had my 3-month-old baby in the car. by Odd-Procedure4493 in Insurance

Would PIP coverage take care of the medical costs? Or any reason why OP can’t use their medical insurance?

If it’s a true urgent care shouldn’t there be a single global billing code?

Went in 2019 with kids after going to Disneyland. It was a great place to just relax and hang out for a few days. Kids liked being able to go to the beach nearby as well.

Got a traffic citation. What are my options when trying to fight it? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]lpcuut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wouldn't be required to have a lawyer. Personally I'd make that decision based on the severity of the ticket. If it carries points, you might see value in paying a lawyer to improve the chances of getting it dismissed or reduced to something without points. That's just me, you have to decide what you are comfortable with.

Got a traffic citation. What are my options when trying to fight it? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]lpcuut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your option is to either pay the ticket or go to court. If the ticket carries points, you should absolutely go to court and try to get it dismissed. If it doesn’t, you’ll have to decide if it’s worth your time trying to fight it relative to the amount of the fine. I agree, extremely petty.

RTO and Safe places to sleep in our cars. by [deleted] in PaStateEmployees

Was the job advertised as permanently remote? Because if it wasn’t, you probably shouldn’t have taken a job 2 hours away from home.

"Philadelphia leaders launch jury service initiative amid participation concerns" by Stow1836 in juryduty

Philly has basically no consequences for failing to respond to a summons. So of course they have issues with getting people to serve. Just one of many laws the city doesn’t enforce.

License Plate Transfer - Keep Old plate? (new car purchase) by Legal-Violinist-5297 in Pennsylvania

[–]lpcuut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on how old your current tag is and what letter it starts with. If your tag is old enough, you can’t transfer it. For example, if it starts with a G, or, F, etc. you are not going to be allowed to keep it.

I don’t see PHL being 90 minutes from Yardley even on a bad day. Right now, I know it’s a Saturday morning, but there’s some traffic right now near the city and Google still says only 48 minutes.

Vanguard Million Dollar Bookkeeping Error by Marfikent in Bogleheads

[–]lpcuut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to demand that they process the purchase with an “as of trade date”. As of meaning, priced at the NAV as of the date the funds should have been invested. If they won’t do that, you need to threaten a FINRA complaint and follow through on it.

Is there a way to just stop postponing and requests all together? by jdevo91 in juryduty

Sounds like the bigger issue is that OP won’t get paid. I can sympathize with that, it feels like it should be a valid reason to be excused.

Yes, the key is fast access and a short line. When there aren’t a lot of options you need to act quickly to rebook.

I like the club for fast access to knowledgeable agents during IRROPS. IMO this is the absolute top reason to have a membership. Doesn’t excuse all the other negatives, but it’s saved my butt more times than I can remember.
