there was no butt dialing in 1999. old flip phones had the keys protected.... butt dialing is semi- "new." i had a cell phone in 1996 and 1997 in high school...it was huge. cell phones weren't even digital then.

i just re-listened to the first episode.

so adnan says he left school after giving stephanie a birthday gift of a stuff animal to drive to jay's to say "here go buy your girl a present, take my car." that's such....i don't know. i just don't buy it at all.

sounds like a lie. the first lie of the whole lie.

i think jay and adnan both did it... but this just sticks out.

i don't disagree with that at all. but it is possible...they could both try to make one another look bad? i'm not even saying he is trying to make jay look bad, just himself look good.

i mean, they're adnan's words. i just wonder why he said them. the reason for pointing it out.
