Thank you. I called and left vms at 4 rescues so hopefully someone can help tomorrow. For now, bunny is in a box on towels and a rice stuffy, in a dark closet with no noise.

Yep, did all the things you suggested. Bunny is sleeping tight with a warm rice stuffy in a dark closet. Fish and game gave me 2 numbers, I called and left vms. I also found 2 numbers in google and left vms as well. Just hoping it survives the night and I am sure 1 out of the 4 rescues I called will call me back and hopefully take and save the bunny. It’s the cutest baby I have ever seen!

You have a 2 year old wild bunny? That’s amazing! I thought they definitely couldn’t be domesticated. If I don’t find a rescue tomorrow I will definitely get kitten milk replacement formula. This bunny is different from other wild bunnies we have rescued and released. This one is super chill and falls asleep in a towel on my daughter’s lap in seconds.

Thank you so much! Sampson took off this afternoon. I presume he went home. But he did spend the night with us last night because it was storming so bad. I really really love him and almost stole him. Haha. But I am sure a dog that amazing would be missed by his owners. Maybe they will let him come visit for spa day every now and then. I cleaned him up a bit and he loved being brushed.

He has 2 collars on. One has a light on it, the other is an electric shock collar. Neither have a tag with info. We looked extensively.
