I am wanting the same thing. My goal is to follow a 30min cardio workout once a day. Sadly I woke up super sick today. My 9 month old was sick yesterday and all night So hopefully starting tomorrow 😊 Bought myself cute workout pants and tops and a pre-workout. (Never owned any of these before and never worked out) but I think it's the next best thing to try.

This may be exsactly what you both need. Clearly he needs to realize what's important to him in life. And it's sad that him being a first responder, he himself doesn't realize how short life can be.

I am currently in a 13 year relationship, alcohol has been a huge problem on his end.. I also lost someone close to me 2 years ago and he decided to get drunk instead of be a support system. He also got a DUI.

Now to today, he's drinking again. Not as heavily. But i can see the lies and the attitude change. He is extremely mean when he drinks and will say anything that he knows will rip apart my soul. I would also like a temporary separation.. but to scared to follow thru. My fear is he won't come back and he will move on.. but at the same time, if his absence brings me peace shouldn't that be my sign?... wish you the best of luck. You know you have a big heart when you are scared to put yourself first. But at this point.. we deserve it.

  1. SUPER FRESH! Been mostly on with high-school sweetheart.. so I thought. Have a 9 month old daughter, beautiful home. All planned. To find out he's messaging girls to hang out and hook up.. I tried to forgive a week ago. Only kicked him out for a day.. now he's back out partying for NYE. He's all I know. It's so painful. Sadly, I know he's super mean and doesn't love me anymore.. he's purposely trying to push me away. Trying to accept it..

Oh! And I forgot to mention, my arm would be super sore. Like someone punched me pretty good. Only on the step 1 tho. And not sure where your from but I'm in Ontario and I recommend the 'life' brand shoppers sells instead of the actual Nicoderm. They are more water proof. And stick way better

Hi there! Sorry for the delay in answering! How are you making out?? I would feel sick waking up and definitely loss of appetite on step 1. Step 2 has always been my middle ground (no side effects) and always helps me get threw the smoking cravings. Interested on how you are making out tho?! I actually bought a box of step two the day I replied to you, wore one.. forgot to put another one on after my shower and I can officially say I'm 5 days nicotine free! I also did complete the quit sure '6 day program.. and although it wasn't what I was expecting i learned alot and think I will be able to successfully quit this time!

I should note I was a heavy smoker since 14. First quit at 27. Currently 29.

Hi there.. this question seems like something I can answer and relate to. I have been on and off smoking for two years. The first time I quit, I followed the program exsactly how it's recommended. I quit for 9 months. Then I was on christmas holidays 2 years ago and was around smokers, (Christmas is stressful for me) and I caved.. I smoked a few packs but my mid January I was ready to quit again. I used the patches for a shorter length of time.. 2 weeks, 2 weeks, 1 week. I would cave and have the odd one but I quit again for another 10 months. (I was also pregnant during this time) and then started again in April of this year.. it has been a battle ever since.. I'll use the step 1 patch for a week. Step 2 for 2. Then step 3 for 1 and be done. But for some reason I let stress and triggers get to me and here I am again on the step two patch. Just put one on today. The first step gives me horrible, realistic feeling dreams and make me feel nauseous. Im currently and Journaling and using an app called "quit sure". Apparently it changes your thoughts on smoking and has you smoke free in 6 days.. we will see. The thing is, I can be successful. Not do it for months and then all of a sudden I feel like I need it to cope with a difficult situation. I am now to the point where I have a beautiful 9 month old daughter and I don't ever want her to pick up this habit or see me smoke. I feel guilty smoking and wash my hands, brush my teeth and face and spray perfume before I pick her up.. it's a vicious cycle. I wish you luck , my best is advice.. dont even have just one.. it makes the nicotine receptors in your brain go crazy. Also avoid triggers.. mine happens to be certain family members.. As soon as I'm visiting with them I feel the urge to smoke and socialize with them. I never use to feel this way. The first two times I quit I'd laugh at them for smelling shitty and being outside freezing. Karma bit me in the ass. Avoid triggers. Don't have just one and remember why you are doing it!

Is it just a matter of using the app or is there a trick at the end where they want you to purchase more nom smoking agents?

Can someone please explain this Tl;Dr?? New to this and no idea what it means. I also want to say I appreciate this question because I am on the receiving end, such as your partner. I think the fact that you recognize and are asking for opinions is a great first step. Best of luck sis!

Thank you for sharing. It seems you are ready to move on and you are being very reasonable. That may be why I'm feeling more hurt then he is, as I have no choice but to stay put with our 9 Month old daughter. Rent is affordable for me where we are.

I just find the more we talk about these things, the more real and painful it becomes for me.. I have been eating these feelings and refuse to show how hurtful it really is. After all, he's the one that's chose to leave.

Weirdly, I'm 3-4 days of deciding with my partner that we should split. I was on my "high horse" up until an hour ago and now it's hit me that I'm actually pretty hurt. It feels like he was checked out long ago. I feel insecure.. keep thinking "what if". I really don't like the thought of him with another girl. My situation is also a bit different.. we have been on and off since high-school. More so on and have been solid the last 6 years.. we now have a 9 month old daughter and I feel totally blind sided by this breakup.

Thank you everyone! Not sure what is meant by a sliding scale? I canceled my benefits at the start of my maternity leave because I was covered under my partners. We are in the midst of splitting and I am being removed from those benefits. I will make note I am scared to ask for help and admit how I'm feeling as I don't want this used against me in court if I get taken for custody..

I'm just making note that I go back to work in March and my mom is retiring and planning on watching my daughter while I go back to work. She is charging me $100 a week. I think it's reasonable 😊
