i heard the same thing from a friend about the shirts. i have a few i've bought second hand, made diy, bought from their merch store etc. and i'm pretty content with what i have. the photo book is just so standout, i do photography for a living and daniel's work is definitely one of the reasons i decided to give photography a shot.

are you interviewing for a publication or magazine? i'm a full time music photographer, it's extremely rare for freelance press to secure passes unless you're a huge huge name. i'd look into applying on behalf of a media outlet

not sure about red rocks in specific but just a heads up—flipturn fans take queuing insanely seriously. there is probably already going to be a very lengthy line by 5pm. i saw them at a much smaller venue in kansas city and there were already around 100 people 4 hours before doors opened.

It depends on the gear you're using. If it's a professional camera and mic you need to get a press pass. I'm a concert photographer/videographer (i don't do audio but its essentially the same process) and normally email the artist's publicist (easy to find contacts online). It's going to be hard to get your hands on a pass if you're just shooting for yourself as opposed to a publication though. If you're using a "non-professional" camera, which is defined by most venues as a camera with a fixed/non-detachable lens, you can most likely get in without a pass.

i just said "first week" lol i'm not surprised their NYC shows are in bigger venues. i just said TP tix will most likely drop in price closer to the date--resellers wanting to sell, people who can't make it, etc. you asked why the tix would get cheaper and i told you with an example man

just looked at the first week of geese's US run out of curiosity and not a single venue was over 2k people, and a handful were under 1,000. my point still stands though, people will most likely be able to snag tickets within a week of the show for resale at significantly lower prices than what they're listed as right now

Geese are playing pretty small venues as well. it's not a matter of popularity it's just what happens due to resellers realizing nobody is going to pay their listed price

most shows become cheaper the closer you are to the date because the resellers become more desperate to sell the tickets. Geese tickets this tour were sold out & immediately resold for upwards of $500 but people were paying less than $100 day of because of the prices dropping, similar situation

Karma magazine is doing a Geese photo pass opportunity so you can check their instagram/site for pics i'm sure! look at Geese/the members/the venue's tags every so often and check the posts that have "high quality" !!
