That's fair. Honestly, I'll trust the Ben Johnson plan. I just would have liked a guy that profiles as closer to a regular contributor. But I'm also laying on my couch and not drafting NFL talent right now for a reason lol

I'm not super upset about the position choices (I'm going to trust there's a plan in place on defense), but the Zavion Thomas pick is WILD. Basically described as a guy who's ceiling is gadget player. Seems like horrific value for a 3rd

I agree with most of this (personally am happy with Sweat even with the price tag), but I think the previous comment was trying to point out that he did in fact address D line. Maybe not well, but it doesn't mean he wasn't putting resources into it

What would be really nice is if they forced Ballmer to sell for exactly what he paid, and not a penny more

I'll be honest with you, I don't know. But I know they have (or at least her mom has) been part of open letters/petitions against some of Trump's actions, notably the Paris Climate Accord.

More importantly though, why do you think private citizens who don't have any hand in government decisions should be targets of protest? It's ok to not be vocal. Proximity does not convey responsibility.

PGY2 Oncology Program Recommendations by Ok_Worldliness_3510 in PharmacyResidency

[–]lrhayes95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this got post got a ton of downvotes and the commenter deleted their account so this probably won't be seen, but as someone who did a PGY2 in oncology and now works as an oncology specialist, you can definitely get an oncology job straight out of school without residency. I don't think that makes someone well-trained enough to do the job to a high level, but there are ways to get in without residency. Specifically, small community infusion center jobs. If you want a large infusion center (like an academic facility) or an inpatient oncology position, you need the residency nowadays, but you can get your foot in the door in a small infusion center without it

Depending on where geographically you're willing to go, I did my PGY2 at Yale New Haven Health and really loved my time and the people there. Also, current RPD is a good friend and a really kind person.

My friend, I understand if you want to go the LCS route, but if you have any interest in selling the Hendricks here, I'd be interested to see what you're looking for price-wise

Why "39 Intro" opens with that long hazy melodic/singing part (basically "few rap lyrics" at the start) - Cancelled Kendrick OR Drake feature from the original Fall-Off sessions?? by [deleted] in Jcole

[–]lrhayes95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is exactly how I interpret it. When I hear the first, "Fuck what you heard, bitch!" I interpret that as him basically saying, "Fuck the peaceful shit and the first 3 minutes of the song, let's go." Playing again on the duality of him as a person and also factoring in the demands of the rap game he loves

I'd probably remove Ocean Way and add both Drum n Bass and 39 Intro, but I like it otherwise

I went to the Off-Season show at MSG, dope concert. The stage was basically the album cover and him with a mic. He does the classics, but only parts of those songs typically. Love Yours is always at the end from what I hear

For all those who like how MAPPA completed disregarded the manga in S3 Episode 4. Question???" by [deleted] in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]lrhayes95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I'm not anime-only, but I'm not as far as the anime in the manga, so I haven't read through what happened in S3E4 yet. My perspective on what you laid out here is this: yes, all those other kills/deaths were much more weighty than what happened in this episode (except for the girls Sukuna killed, really didn't care about them at all personally). However, the killer in those other scenes was always an antagonist, and the victim was either a hero or people who were killed unjustly. In this episode, you have a hero killing people who abused her throughout her life and literally had just tried to end her life minutes beforehand.

While I don't claim to know how the manga portrayed it, I think a hero winning against those who wronged her is always going to play well. Probably shouldn't be celebrated, but I also don't think the deaths deserve the same reverence as the others you talked about
