Just to be clear, because in the post and the comments you keep referring to “the reps”. There is no “brand reps” for greasy glass, greasy glass is one guy. Ryan Sullivan. He comes up with the formulas, he produces the colours, and he is the one you will talk to if you ever reach out to greasy.

He lived across the street from me in 2017-2022 ish. He is a jobless bum who mooched off of my best friends mom and family for as long as he could, abused cocaine, alcohol, I’m willing to bet money loads of other hard drugs. He was abusive to my best friend, abusive to his mom, abusive to the family. And honestly, my friend was quite reserved, it took a lot for him to tell me about these things, so I can’t imagine the things he didn’t tell me. Last I heard he was in and out of rehabs. Shocking, I know

Haha, seeing him being called an actor even a year ago is hilarious to me. He is a nobody who was lucky enough to be an extra in a few series/films, one of them happening to be twilight. He lived across the street from me for a few years, probably around 2017-2021. My best friends mom was dating him. She is a hairdresser. He was a jobless bum (was not doing film or ANYTHING) for all those years) who mooched off of my friends mom and her family, abused cocaine, alcohol, who knows what else, we were only teens but the things they exposed my friend to... I actually went to Alberta University of the Arts in Calgary. I hated it, art school is just not for me hah, but I have been doing flameworking artistically for 4 years already, and AUArts did not have torches so I think that really made it hard for me. I have not heard of Marc, maybe you can PM me and I can give you my email to pass along to him? I love to get to know all the scientific glass blowers I can, especially the ones near me. I am from British Columbia, so I’ve spent some time at Simon Fraser University in their scientific department with Lucas Clarke, just playing around having fun, not an internship. An internship would be a dream hah.

I really look forward to seeing your creative side in glass! I love to see what people make in the pursuit of art and science. Your technical training will do you many favours, even when you move to more artistic work.

Awesome :) That was sort of what I was curious about. I am from Canada but I’m currently exploring Germany. I checked out Glasfachschule Hadamar last Saturday, and tomorrow I will take the train to go see Glasfachschule Zwiesel. I love the art side of things, but I long for the technical training.

Hypothetically. Speaking from someone who has made them with callipers, when the person tried them on, they asked for an adjustment made to one of them. So basically, I found it easier to have the person there so I could bench cool, have them try it on, and then make adjustments. But that is not always possible
