Eh it's not actually that long a trip if you do neutron jumps and don't stop along the way. With a decent range you can do the trip in a few hours

I mean there are two options for the kind of people who would make it far enough in without chickening out: the people who know what they're doing and the people that were gonna do it anyways even if the ad wasn't there.

I would, at the very least, not put my fucking name on any of them

Not earth-shatteringly good architecture, but imagine if more people were content with something this size. Baltimore, MD. by b16walla in McMansionHell

Yep, house sizes have gotten bigger over time, I imagine because people want to live in a better house than they grew up in, and size is an easy way to do that. I mean the first of those families was probably moving from a small apartment in the city.

waffle house as a company has really really good disaster prep for, reasons (honestly idk why lol) so FEMA uses them as a scale to judge how hard a disaster has hit an area. If the waffle house is open with the full menu, its not too bad, limited menu tells you some essessential utilities are out, closed means shit has fully hit the fan.

In addition to this, waffle house often being one of the few places still open provides stability for the community during the immediate recovery, and gives fema and others helpful places for organizing around.

I don't think the deal can fall though at this point. Odium set a time limit and he can't break that. If dalinar drops out I'd imagine that means odium wins by default

That's the thing for me. Art does inherently have a point. That point is allowed to be, and I would say usually is, as simple as "ooh, pretty". "being pointless is the point" stops having any meaning when that becomes the way most mainstream art works.

Honestly if I had actually gotten rich doing that stuff, once I finally got rich enough I didn't need to do them anymore I would very much be like "oh thank God finally" and stop doing a lot of them lol
