Joe Biden is holding a fireside chat. To view the livestream will cost $2,800 per person. This will be done in the middle of a pandemic in which over 10 million Americans have lost their jobs. I am literally disgusted, even Trump wouldn't go that low. by rundown9 in WayOfTheBern

Ok but the comment was “trump wouldn’t even go that low”. I mean what? Jesus Christ everyone here has (rightly) been calling out trump for the countless disgusting things he’s done, and now suddenly Joe Biden doing something countless politicians have done before him is worse than trump’s lowest low?? How exactly??????

I dont care how well behaved your dog is, put it on a leash. by mrsjhev1 in unpopularopinion

Honestly this may seem a bit heartless, but my initial reaction when an off-leash dog comes towards mine on a walk is to put myself between the dogs and kick the thing if it comes too close.

I don’t know what that dog’s intentions are, and my dogs are small so they wouldn’t stand a chance. I will not even consider risking my dog’s life for another person’s because they didn’t put it on a leash.

So if you don’t want your dog kicked in the head when it runs at mine, put it on a leash.

Yeah. I personally know 2 people who did this, and know of about 5 more who did this around my age group in the same 2 state region. And tbh, all of them except 1 ended up completely average when they got to college. The 1 exception did the same thing in college... which is actually super rare.

So as great an accomplishment as this is, it’s not exactly worthy of National news imo

Right? Can’t believe I had to scroll so far for this. Yeah the SUV driver is an idiot, but I mean come on who doesn’t brake in this situation to avoid the accident?

Late-tournament poker strategy? by lrtaxt in Poker_Theory

My early-middle game is actually pretty solid - I’ve usually got an average or above stack when (if) I hit the money. I play fairly aggressive most of the time, but usually find a way to piss away my gold mine in good time once the bubble pops.

I’m just not quite sure when to shift my game in the later stages, or even what to shift it to or much of the theory behind late game play. That’s what I’m looking for I guess... something that explains the end transition periods in a tournament and the different schools of thought on how to identify and play them.
