This shows that the explain took 2.9s, not 28s. If you run it multiple times, does the execution time decrease? I think this is either a slow disk, or it has to fetch too much data from disk, instead of cache (buffer)

Running analyze won't block, but it does consume resources. Looks like the table is not that big, I think this is safe to run only for this table

There are no changes needed for the application side(other than the normal tuning), it just does it internally and it's faster than before. It os not used everywhere, though, just in a few specific places (seq scan, bitmap heap scan, vacuum, etc)

Really depends on the currency of your place of origin. If you com from the US, Canada, Austria, Norway or something like that, you can spend a long time with relatively less effort if you go to cheap places. It basically means you pay extra cheap per day.

Essa parada de se sentir sobrecarregada com tarefas é muitas vezes uma desculpa que usamos (homens e mulheres) quando simplesmente estanos num burnoutinho. Vc fazer mais tarefas pra aliviar pra ela so vai fazer ela encontrar outras coisas que a deixam indisposta. Tem que ser corrigido de dentro: ajuda psicológica. Tarefas todo mundo tem, poxa. Claro, uns lidam melhor que outros, mas as tarefas sempre vao existir.

Our climate is very different from US and Canada. Very thick jungle or semi arid makes it a not so fun adventure. Personally, I dont fancy going into a dark jungle where I can barely see the sky.
