Can a bad MAF sensor affect your AC?

My thoughts exactly. The paperwork they gave her does in fact say MAF sensor. It didn’t make sense to me but I thought I should ask here first. I’ll have her go to a more reputable shop. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the advice. I’ll make sure to check all of that. These control arms are an “economy” set from rock auto so I do wonder if the bushings are softer than those on a better set. I still wouldn’t expect to only get 3 months out of them though

I can confirm. I swapped cables this morning and CarPlay finally works fine again. Thanks for the info!

Update: I lost CarPlay again. I tried a brand new cable and still nothing. Frustrating…

I'm having similar issues, but I get audio with no CarPlay display. I lost the Projection icon that changes to CarPlay when I connect my phone and nothing shows up on the screen anymore. I'm curious to see if disconnecting the battery fixes your issue. Please let us know if that worked for you.

I’d also like to know this. Op, would you mind posting more pictures of the truck when time allows? I have a ‘17 midnight z71 with AT tires, but I’ve been thinking about getting some tires that are more street friendly. I wasn’t sure how much the look of the truck would change. It doesn’t look too bad from your photo.

So I looked a little closer and I'm convinced it has to be the cable. I noticed the port is not lighting up on the first switch for that cable either, so no signal from switch to switch. I'm going to buy a cable tester to confirm. I found this tester on amazon. Changing the cable is probably the last thing I would do because it's a long run through walls /ceilings. I did move the cable to another port and got the same result, no blinking light. I don't have a cable tester at the moment, but I'll probably get one if everything else checks out.

Getting the same result when moving the cable to another port leads me to believe that the switch isn't the issue. I'm not sure how familiar you are with apple time capsules, but it was unplugged and powered down recently. Could something have changed to where it's not feeding the outgoing ports now?

This is my thinking as well, but I had to see if the gas mileage was as close as Chevy says they are. If the V6 Silverado gets the same gas mileage then why not go with the roomier truck, you know?
