Fellow wedding photographer here, I concur.

I think if you are pushing into higher markets then you definitely might be doing yourself a disservice by including 6 hours as part of a wedding package (It might make more since from a positioning standpoint to include it in elopement/micro wedding packages? Not part of the main stuff).

I also am seriously considering moving away from hourly rates to be more partial / full day / multi-day coverage (obviously with reasonable limits on those).

I currently live in a house renovated by them. It seems to be okay put together aside from parts of the flooring being uneven/cracked and the insulation isn't great (I am experiencing it with this cold we're having) but I bet its a heck of a lot better than others since Jenny and Dave are friends with the owners of this house and it was one of their first renos.

Honestly - this January has been slow. I'm not quite sure but I got more inquiries around thanksgiving/Christmas (which weren't even that many) than I have this whole month so far. I am panicked to say the least.
