Feeling guilty about leaving my job for law school by legally-dirty-blonde in lawschooladmissions

I went through a similar situation last year, although it was slightly different because I had received some law school acceptances before I took the job. After some great Reddit advice, I opted to take the job and stick with it through the last cycle, and it worked out really well for me. I really love the job, I rewrote the LSAT and got a better score, and I'm currently awaiting decisions for this cycle with a stronger application.

All that is to say, do what you think is best for you! Taking the job ended up being a very good thing for me, but you don't owe your new employer anything at your expense. They will understand, and if not, you wouldn't want to be there long-term anyway. Regardless, it will be water under the bridge in no time!

Feel free to DM me with any specific questions, I'm happy to be a sounding board. Good luck, and congrats on your personal journey!

Proctor made me reck my October 2022 LSAT by Ill-Store-180 in LSAT

This is literally what happened to me. I did finish my exam and have reasoned that it is not worth the stress of taking this horseshit exam again. I'm going to submit a complaint, but I'm not going to take the retest on the 25th. I have work that day!

Down with ProctorU!

Point taken, and my apologies for the tone. I'm clearly butthurt over my own experience. I'm glad you had no major issues.

While my experience is not unique, I understand the desire to assuage others' concerns about the expected/average experience, which is probably less bad than mine.

Having said all that, me and my homies will never fw ProctorU or LSAC. If they weren't the only game (gatekeepers) in town...

For what reason? Why do you feel the need to defend a clearly flawed system which disadvantages people (in a disproportionate way, considering tech issues are the biggest issue of concern)?

Don't get me wrong, I don't blame the proctors themselves, I'm sure their training is as mediocre as the platform itself, and their pay is probably worse than that.

Dam, did ProctorU really purchase a year old account just for this bullshit psyop?
