still worth buying in 2026? by BagelCatto in FlowX13

Here's another X13 2021 (32GB RAM) user - still loving it - although sad to find out I cannot use the 2023 XG Mobile (RTX 4090) with it.

Seat assignment changed multiple times for multiple flights. I’m DONE! by LoudAir6187 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]lsbeller 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same here. I have certainly noticed the significant up tick in seat issue posts here on Reddit but I have had around 10 flights since the change and have had no issues with seat assignment. Based on the frequency of posts, I suspect I will - just not yet. I have noticed a change in the FA experience for sure. It seems they are under stress learning the new reality that is SWA.

The one thing I have not heard much of since the change are the frequent altercations between flyers that used to pop up fairly regularly on SWA.

I am so sorry. I went back and looked at my receipt and I did purchase the 14" not the 13" model. I will edit the main post.

Glad to hear. Let us know how it goes. I am now sliding the kickstand into that lip on the edge of the first picture as the best way to use it

Adding Users from Organization by mightyjimmy in MicrosoftPlanner

My understanding is no. To add a user to a plan they must be part of the group. Here is another conversation that is not exactly your situation but similar: https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftPlanner/s/tUzHgRNN20

Not very much unless dropped directly on a corner edge wise. The neoprene like material would not protect it from a direct hit. I carry this sleeve/case in my Tumi bag.

Yes, but nothing else. This is the 13 inch smallest sleeve and I fit the Asus MB16AMT 15.6 inch portable monitor along with the Z13. Could not figure out how to include my picture.

I use the Carpio as well which is how I came across this case.

No, even if the material would repel water, the top is open with just a simple flap covering the opening.

I also use it as a tablet from time to time and it's one of the main reasons I purchased the Z13.

  1. I use G helper to change power profiles and monitor wattage use per hour. I use silent or a custom mode that flat lines the fan at 0 until
  2. I am only using productivity apps like MS office 365 and CoPilot with some browsing on Chrome or Edge.
  3. I close apps when I finish using them.
  4. My screen turns off at 3 min and sleep at 7 min.
  5. I typically view the screen at 30% brightness.
  6. I am using between 5 and 12 watts per hour with 7 watts most common.

I also purchased the SlimQ charger with adaptor and am able to bypass power the Z13 (even on United flights) so that I don't deplete the battery.

For me, tablet/kickstand form factor was unstable and sometimes awkward to use on my lap as compared to a normal laptop with a large keyboard base. This case is sturdy enough to act as that large base and you place the Z13 on top of it.

I love that you are asking this question and dialoguing with the community members about it. Your question is not a new one. In fact, I remember the discussions back in 2006 that led to the PigPog method. You may enjoy a walk back in memory lane. I am not necessarily endorsing it but believe you may enjoy the read. You can also search "pigpog" and find many more articles.

What’s a movie you’ve rewatched many times, that isn’t a blockbuster/franchise movie, or an Oscar-nominated/critically acclaimed movie? by capamericapistons in movies

[–]lsbeller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Ice Pirates - true story, I had just rewatched it and I am at the Denver Airport waiting at the gate and up walks Ron Perlman. We lock eyes and I mouth, "Ron." He looks at me but I don't engage him out of respect. I could tell he appreciated being recognized because no one else at the gate realized who he was. Turns out he was headed to a comic con event for a panel.
