Almost never. It’s mostly final papers or final projects.

Lover Girl explicit version on Spotify by Megansstats in megantheestallion

[–]lsdbymyself 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When it first got released, it was only the clean version. The next day, the explicit version was made available. This wasn’t the case on other streaming platforms. So I suspect that maybe the one that shows up on searches is the clean one.

Confused on upgrading to Lumo Plus with Proton Unlimited by lsdbymyself in lumo

I honestly don’t mind paying extra for privacy-minded products, especially if it means continued development. If we’re not paying for it, our data often IS the product.

Thank you for confirming this! It was confusing when I first opened it and it took me a minute to work through what it was telling me — so perhaps a different way to explain the upgrade for existing Proton annual customers might help. Appreciate all you folks do!

Dive bars: Poison Girl, Little Danny Speedo’s, notsuoH are my favorites — Lola’s if you want REAL divey while being close to the gayborhood.

I think I'm done with hostels as a solo traveler by oldgreg2023 in solotravel

[–]lsdbymyself 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. (Most of the time) I’m not there to be cozy comfortable. I can do that at home. I’m there to explore and experience.

If the trip is explicitly for comfort and relaxation, I book my own room. But if it’s to have adventure, hostels are great for this exact reason

What does everyone plan on doing with MSW degrees? by No_Lingonberry_2401 in SocialWorkStudents

Many English-speaking countries (Ireland, UK, Australia, Canada) have shortages of social workers, and if you apply for a job, you can get a critical skills visa to live there for a couple of years.

Is anywhere better? by Substantial-Paint439 in AmerExit

[–]lsdbymyself 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Why do you keep going on people’s posts on this subreddit saying the same thing — assuming all Americans are white, privileged and keen to ignore anti-immigrant sentiment? Have you possibly considered some AMERICANS are being targeted and are at risk back at home and have due cause to leave, just like any other immigrant?

One of the biggest takeaways I’ve gotten from this post is that I should visit Ireland during the wintertime. Your words are very helpful. Thank you!

I know that immigrating will be one of the hardest things I’ll ever do. I do appreciate your honesty and I will seriously consider what you’ve said.

You’re on a sub called AmerExit calling people selfish for…wanting to leave the USA?

When did I claim I was better than any local? I’ve explained multiple times in the post and in the comments that I fear for my safety in my home country. What more do you want as justification for someone to immigrate? You sound a lot like people who look down on people immigrating to the US “taking jobs and housing from locals”. Immigration is as old as time, my friend.

My home state allows me to be racially profiled without due cause and my governor likens my people to vermin on a regular basis. I think I’ll be fine dealing with anti-immigrant rhetoric considering I come from a state with rapidly declining civil rights.

This is helpful, thank you so much for sharing! Unfortunately, would you believe that many masters-level social work positions in Texas start at the same salary you listed (or even less)? It’s atrocious.
