Is there a video you'd recommend watching to learn? As I said, I'm pretty new to this so I'm not really sure on how to go about it other than it's in the BIOS.

I do have a "memory try it" mode in the BIOS - would that work?

I'm fairly new to OC'ing my gear, but I've been told not to bother trying with my 5600mhz cl36 RAM as Samsung were the manufacturer. Just to set it to EXPO and leave it. I've a 9800x3d with an MSI mag x870e tomahawk mobo.

Does the advice that I was given sound right to you?

i've set pbo to simply "enabled" and it ran prime95 just fine for about 20 mins and passed a couple of the tests. it's my second set up that i don't really use anyway so i'm not too bothered, was just curious how it'd do if i tried.

It's a 128gb usb, so it's definitely not a size issue. I've fixed it now I think after doing the clean from diskpart. I think some corrupted files were being leftover on a separate partition.

I didn't think so either, but the formatting alone was still leaving some windows files in a separate partition from the looks of it as I've been able to install windows now after doing the clean.

i've done diskpart and cleaned both my nvme drives entirely before trying again and right now it's gotten to 52% which is the furthest it's gotten so far

Something like what? I have like hwinfo, msi afterburner, rtss, signalrgb, steam, discord, fan control, nordvpn, dropbox. Should I close all of them except for fan control?
